Education Institutions generally build up their reputation slowly over time. The world’s most recognisable Universities have actually been in existence for hundreds of years. Although this means that they are easily recognised, it can sometime be a barrier to innovation and change. Often they don’t need to change, or sometimes, necessary change is hindered by tradition and reputation.
This project involved the restructuring of a globally-recognised University in such a position, where its reputation, structure and culture had become a hindrance to progress. The work entailed a complete restructuring of the organisation for future growth. Whilst the main delivery units were broken down and reconstituted into new Schools, all other support functions such as IT, HR and marketing were also impacted. The project was delivered on time and with increased value, particularly in the areas of communication with stakeholders.
